HERE ARE THE 3 MOST IMPORTANT THINGS WE FOCUS ON WHEN TEACHING OUR KIDS TO SWIM:
1) TRUST – Kids need to know they can trust you, the parent or instructor. This allows them to relax, BE BRAVE, and try new things that are outside their comfort zone.
2) TIME – Repetition and time in the water is so important. So much of swimming is just letting your natural instinct kick in, the water skills that are already deep down inside all of us, even from birth.
3) FUN – If you make swimming, or any challenging skill, fun then progression and learning will come naturally. So above everything else, JUST HAVE FUN!
