I love Lana’s story because I think we all have shared a similar experience at some point in our lives ~ life and work getting so hectic that we start to lose our health in the process. Tell us about yourself!
Hi I’m Lana! I am a mom of 2. I am self employed and live a very fast paced and hectic life! Over the years I have switched my focus from my health to my business and went down a very destructive path of abusing my body with alcohol and fast food 24/7. It got to the point where I eventually became obese.
The last 3 years I’ve been working on finding my way back to a healthy path with balance, nutrition, and just taking it slowly and not rushing it. I have implemented Autumn’s program in my life 2 years ago and found that this was sustainable for me. I never looked back after that!
I lost over 90 pounds in the last 3 years, 60 of it was after starting Autumn‘s program. Yes I look better but most importantly and for the first time in a long time, I feel better!
Which Intermittent Fasting Program did you follow?
Right now I’m on Level Up.
Have you tried anything else in the past to achieve your goals?
I have tried every single diet out there! Weight watchers, strict keto, vegan, Atkins, IG fitness model diets, starving myself. All of it.
Did you have any hesitations before starting the Intermittent Fasting Program?
Yes! After so many failed diets and spending so much money on other programs and apps, I wanted to try this one bc it looked sustainable and really focuses on internal health and not just weight-loss.
What has been your biggest wellness win with the Intermittent Fasting Program?
Being full at the end of each meal, not having the urge to binge eat, no more inflammation, no more fatigue especially after eating a meal, feeling more focused, and having bursts of energy throughout the day.
What was your favorite recipe from the Intermittent Fasting Program?
Literally make leak soup every other week lol.
Is there anything else you would like to share?
I want to say that it’s not easy at first. It’s never easy to make a lifestyle change but once you decide to do it, take it one day at a time! If you rush into it, you’re going to fail. Take your time and really reflect on how you feel at the end of the day. Once I stopped rushing and expecting an overnight change, everything changed for me.
