Not surprisingly, most people believe that yoga does not help in weight loss as it has more to do with stretches and less calorie burning. While yoga might not give immediate results, the gradual stretching and strengthening of the muscles and tissues will eventually give an overall toned look. So, start slowly, and understand your body and its limitations. Most importantly, be patient – losing weight in a slow yet gradual way has a greater impact, and does not harm the muscles or deplete important minerals.
This yoga sequence for weight loss will bring in better results if it is included in the early morning fitness regime. This will also help reduce constant food cravings throughout the day. You can practice the given yoga sequence for two rounds and then, relax by ending it in Savasana (Corpse Pose).
