In today’s practice, we use a chair to get deep hip flexion, which allows for the appropriate stress to be placed on the leg bone and the pelvic bone to create bone-building stimulation. There were 12 postures on the ground, in a chair, and standing.
The chair allows us to go deeper than we normally do when we’re doing the standing practice, and it offers support if we have issues with balance. This class is in the strong category, and as always, you should modify it according to your needs.
Today’s practice will help to create stronger muscles, stronger bones, improve posture, improve balance, for fall and fracture prevention.
The props utilized today are a blanket, a strap, a block, and a chair, preferably without arms.
