Brooklyn has largely been cooking for Instagram videos over the past few years as he shares basic tips with his followers on meals such as burgers and sandwiches.
But ensuring his fans know he in no way regards himself a professional, Brooklyn admitted to Bustle in a recent interview: ‘I’m not a professional chef – at all.’
‘I’ve never said that. I never would say that. Obviously, my dad [retired soccer star David Beckham] knew what he was doing at a very young age. I’ve only been doing cooking for not even three years.’
Brooklyn stressed: ‘It’s okay to be 25, 26, or even 30 and not know what you’re doing yet. You know what I mean?’

The 23-year-old aspiring chef recently starred in his own online Cookin’ With Brooklyn series, which saw him enlist a 62-person crew at the eye-watering cost of $100,000 to film him making a sandwich.
In one of the eight-minute episodes, Brooklyn, who has no professional training as a chef, shows his Instagram and Facebook followers how to make a bagel sandwich with a hash brown, coleslaw and fried sea bream.
According to the New York Post , the video had a team of professionals on hand including a ‘culinary producer’ who approves the recipes, five camera operations and nine producers.

In the sandwich video, Brooklyn did not actually cook any of the sandwich but simply spread mayonnaise on the bagel and layed the ingredients on top.
He didn’t know how to fry fish and was also heard asking how to know when a hash brown is finished frying.
In the video, he said: ‘I eat half the fish and then I like, mess it all up and put it in two loaves of bread with the fish, vinegar, salt, mushy peas.’
Speaking to the camera, he added: ‘Coleslaw gives sandwiches a different texture, like a crunchy texture.’
Chef Brooklyn! Brooklyn Beckham showed off his cooking skills on Tuesday, making a basic fish and chip sandwich
Just a couple of weeks later Brooklyn whipped up a humble fish and chip sandwich.
While he previously required assistance to fry a hash brown, the son of David and Victoria Beckham proved that he’d picked up more potato know-how as he began cutting up some potatoes and frying them in oil to make fresh hot chips.
He then salted up the fries, before making his own batter for two small fresh fish fillets, which he fired in a fry pan.
Brooklyn then gentled placed the crumbling fish fillets onto fresh bread, layered on the chips and finished with the sauce, before cutting the sandwich in half.
Brooklyn was also panned for another televised cooking stunt – in which he faced brutal mockery for making a simple breakfast sandwich during a food segment on The Today Show.
The budding photographer appeared on the US programme, when he shared his ‘recipe’ for an English breakfast sandwich, a dish that he ‘learned from his great-grandma’.

Think you can cook it like Beckham? Brooklyn reveals the VERY simple ‘recipe’ for his ‘special’ English breakfast sandwich
4 rashers of English bacon
1 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
4 slices soft white bread
1. Add the olive oil to a cast-iron skillet set over medium heat, place the bacon in the pan and cook 3 to 5 minutes, or until crispy on both sides. Remove bacon and place onto a paper towel-lined plate to remove excess grease.
2. Then add sausages into the same pan, searing evenly on all sides. After about 2 to 3 minutes, slice them in half while keeping the two sides attached and cook the inside until crispy. Remove from pan and place onto plate with the bacon.
3. Add 2 eggs into the same skillet and season with salt and pepper. These should cook quickly with the existing oil in the pan.
4. Assemble all ingredients on top of the bread to make two sandwiches, drizzle with ketchup, cut in half and serve.
