Umaru Sanda Amadu composes: Of WeyGeyHey, no-fasting guideline and spiritual tolerance
I attended federal government schools all my life, from Asutsuare Junction D/A Basic School to Tema Secondary School and later on, the Ghana Institute of Journalism. When I was in Tema Secondary School, all we needed to do during Ramadan, was to compose to the school authorities alerting them of the duration and the number of students who will quickly. Before I came to the school, we had to pray in a small corner in the workplace of one of the Muslims in the school who was a staff.

I was fasting in Junior High School, there was no impact on my academics. When I was in Tema Secondary School, all we needed to do during Ramadan, was to write to the school authorities alerting them of the period and the number of students who will quick. Before I came to the school, we had to pray in a little corner in the workplace of one of the Muslims in the school who was a staff. Our fasting back at Tema Secondary School never ever blocked the work of the school in any way.
