Snoop Dogg’s Daughter Shares Her Natural Remedies For Lupus Symptoms

Cori Broadus, Snoop Dogg’s 24-year-old daughter, has treated her Lupus symptoms 100% naturally. Broadus told People that she transitioned because she had been repeating the same routine since being diagnosed with the condition at the age of six.

“I’ve had medication since I was 6 years old, depending on these drugs all my life. So, I wanted better for myself. I wanted to change because it just became a lot. I’m only 24 years old taking 10 to 12 pills every single day. So, I kind of just went cold Turkey,” she remarked.

She told the outlet that after going natural five months ago, “I’ve been good, better than I’ve ever been,” following a rocky path that included a suicide attempt in 2021.

As part of her new regimen, she drinks a lot of water and consumes a variety of herbs, sea moss, teas, and other supplements. She also revealed that she often goes to the gym and works with a personal trainer with her fiancé, Wayne. Her body, she claims, is adjusting.

“My body is not achy,” she shared. “When you have lupus, that’s one of the number one things. You have achy joints, you have arthritis. And now I’m like, damn, I’m not complaining about my knees, my feet, my hands, my back.”

Lupus is an autoimmune illness in which the immune system misidentifies healthy tissues as foreign invaders and assaults them instead of attacking harmful germs and viruses. It causes joint, skin, kidney, blood cell, brain, heart, and lung inflammation. Currently, there is no cure for the condition.

Despite her current success, the 24-year-old noted that she recognizes it’s a learning process and that she still has certain lifestyle issues to work on, such as her eating habits and lack of rest.

“If I can do a whole 360 change and just get healthy all around, I think I would be so good. But I tell people all the time, it’s a day-by-day process. Things are going to take time. Nothing is going to happen overnight,” she explained.

The Snoop Dogg family developed the Broadus Collection of luxury scarves last year in honor of and in memory of their youngest daughter, who began losing her hair after being diagnosed with lupus. Broadus’ celebrity parents and siblings began wearing scarves to make her feel more confident.

Even though lupus does not currently have a cure, Cori holds on to hope.

“I want to be okay. You’re not going to always be okay, and that’s okay because we’re human, but I want to be okay overall, mentally, physically. And we’re going to get there,” she told People.

She has been open about her health and has documented her wellness journey on social media.
